About

I was born in Prince George Hospital in the winter wonderland that was, Prince George. From there i took a general interest in technology, which was ironic considering the place was notorious for redneck ideals and getting drunk was a daytime sport. Maybe that was why, but for whatever reason i took an interest in computers, when my peers saw absolutely no potential.

I learned to use my first editing software on an old Pentium MMX clocking in at 200MHz with a 2MB Trident VGA card (i still have the processor wrapped up in honor), the software in question was Flash 5, and the software has been apart of me since. From there i was introduced to Premiere 6.5 and Maya 5 in high school where i got my first taste of 3D and Video production. Also in highschool, while i took a direct interest in actionscript, i also got into PHP (purely to code an image submission dump system) and that also stuck past its original plan.

My heart was always in video games though, and i partnered up with various friends of various related talents and interests to create projects in Flash under the label of "ViperVision". As time progressed, we decided it was time to move onto real games, focusing on Mods. This is where "Black Jaguar Studios" came from, notable partners in crime were Josh Free and Kris Hornseth who provided not only their free time to projects but also remain people i would dedicate hours to whatever they need should they want it.

After Edge-DM, Devastating Doom3, and a project named "First Priority" which was to be a standalone title, the team went their separate ways, and i began post-secondary.

I have attended the Art Institute of Vancouver-Burnaby for a brief stint in Game Design and Production, then moved to Kelowna to attend the Center for Arts and Technology of the Okanagan for 3D Animation and Game Design. During my time at CATO i got hired into PureWorks Inc, part of the Content Development Team where I retouched my roots with Actionscript to be a Flash Programmer. I started with Editing Audio and ended up apart of the "Learning Systems" team where i headed Support Troubleshooting, performed Research and Development, Learned better coding practices, and relearned everthing i didnt know with Microsoft Office software.

After being laid off of that 3 year job, i now do freelance backend programming work on Websites, and continue to train myself on Video Production and Actionscript. I hope to one day be a Producer, Designer, Video Editor or Cinematics Producer of a company in the games industry, or start my own business around Video Production, or anything to do with Entertainment.

Im sorta married to this industry, you see.
